Review by hotel critic
Review of Far Horizons Camps BayDuring my week-long stay at Far Horizons Camps Bay, I found myself in a property that deserves thoughtful consideration for urban explorers seeking a balance between luxury and value. Nestled in an enviable location close to Table Mountain and the vibrant beaches of Camps Bay, the hotel boasts magnificent views and a charming garden, providing an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of the warm hospitality often found back home in Belfast. While my accommodations began positively-thanks to the well-appointed sitting area and complimentary breakfast essentials like fruits and cereal-the experience was marred by noise disturbances from a party in the main house. This lack of privacy and subsequent interruptions detracted significantly from the overall enjoyment, particularly for a guesthouse. The invaluable support offered by the owner, particularly during an unexpected passport issue, places Far Horizons in a unique light of customer service. The clean and spacious rooms, complemented by facilities such as Wi-Fi and laundry services, position it as an appealing option for those prioritizing convenience. A stay might be rewarding, but consider your priorities carefully.
